What’s good fat?
First let’s define the 3 different types:
- White fat: Most abundant type stored in triglycerides.
- Brown fat: Specializing in burning to provide energy and warmth
- Beige fat: Hybrid version of brown and white fat.
Good fats will be brown or beige. You want any fat your body stores to be used and not stored.
