    Your loved ones will start with the “side eye.”

    • Lentil Bolognese
    • Cauliflower “steaks” over brown rice and quinoa
    • Black bean burger tofu “bacon” burger with sweet potato fries
    • Oatmeal Raisin Cookies with flaxseed and sweetened with dates
    • Chocolate peanut butter cups sweetened with dates
    • Hearts of Palm fried “fish”

    The level of creativity in plant based meals is unrivaled.

  • I have had chronic knee issues since I had a majority tear of my MCL on my left knee when I was 15.

    I fell off my road bike and suffered connective tissue damage to the right knee.

    I was also prone to getting shin splints.

    I got plantar fascitis 2 years ago where I was barely able to walk to refrigerator from the couch without pain.

    4 weeks into my plant based journey.

    I raced my little 8 & 5 year old boys 100 yards back to back.

    I woke up the next day and the day after with no soreness or pain.

    Amazing!!!!

  • When I tell people I have become plant based, they think it’s a phase.

    A lot of people have gone vegetarian for a while too.

    So they think its for weight loss and I would be lying if I  said that was one NOT of the reasons.

    The other reason is pronounced:

    • This diet heals chronic diseases.
    • This diet can reverse illness not just treat the symptoms.
    • Increases energy levels.
    • Decreases recovery time from sickness to injuries.
    • This diet transforms you from the inside out.

    Which if I never lost another pound would still be worth it.

  • I got invited to a cookout.

    The star of any cookout is always the meat.

    I will get countless questions to why I am not eating meat.

    I will also be made fun of with my manliness coming into question.

    Conviction is my armor.

    I have never felt better not even when I weighed less.

    I beat both of my boys at the 100 yard dash, twice. Back to back races too.

    Keep your meat. I will take more life any day.

  • As of today it costs $10k to$15k a month for assisted living.

    It’s a good thing we are living longer but the last 10 years of American life is hobbled by hospital visits, patient stays, surgeries and treatments.

    You should leave the next generation with eating the foods that help with live longer and a lil something in their pocket.

    The only way you can do that is to start making those changes now so you can have something to give them when the time comes.
